A new heat pump installation offers Lee’s Summit homeowners an energy-efficient way to stay comfortable through Missouri’s changing seasons.

Using a reversing valve, a heat pump can reverse its refrigeration cycle to provide both heating and cooling. In summer, it moves heat from inside your home to the outdoors, helping you stay cool through warm Jackson County nights. When winter arrives, it pulls heat from outdoor air and transfers it indoors to warm your home.

Schedule your heat pump installation today for a personalized assessment based on your Lee’s Summit home’s heating and cooling needs.
Ready to upgrade your current heat pump? Switching from an older system to an energy-efficient model can save you money over time. Most heat pumps last 10 to 15 years, so if yours is nearing that age, it’s likely time to consider a replacement. Other common signs include:
- Frequent, costly repairs
- Short-cycling
- Unusual noises or smells
- Uneven temperatures from room to room
Our Lee’s Summit service pros can determine whether you need a heat pump replacement or if heat pump repairs will do the job. Call today for an honest, transparent assessment.

Taking Care of Your Heat Pump

Heat pumps run year-round, handling both heating and cooling in your Lee’s Summit home. Scheduling twice-annual heat pump maintenance is the best way to keep it running from cold snaps to heatwaves for years to come.

We recommend scheduling your first visit before the cooling season starts (April to May), when the first purple coneflowers pop up along the shores of Longview Lake. Then schedule your second visit before the heating season starts (September to October), when the trees at Fleming Park turn vibrant red and orange.
