Our experience with Aire Serve could not have been better. The air went out because the unit was hit by a ground surge just yards from it. We were in the house when this happened. My wife and I both screamed and jumped along with the cat who jumped about 4ft. in the air and turned 180 degrees while in the air and hit the ground running. Only the HVAC was not protected with a surge protector. We smelled an ozone smell but everything seemed OK until the next day when air would not respond to thermostat. From the initial call, their people swung into action. Rance came to check out everything. He found a fried circuit board (the ozone smell). It then became decision time- -replace or repair. Insurance policy covered part of the cost. Tate performed measurements of the house for deciding on sizing of new unit or replacement. He helped us with insurance and costing decisions. We decided on replacement and a heat pump because of projected savings and age of existing unit. Within several days we had Tom, Cody and Terry installing the new unit. As testimony to the teams professionalism, the unit as shipped from the factory, had wiring not attached properly. They identified the problem and dug into the unit And corrected it. I was impressed! They installed a NEST thermostat and wired and programmed it. An inspection of everything was performed by Joseph who sent e-mail complete with his picture and arrival time. I think it was Joseph who handled minor corrections in fan settings and Nest settings. Tate came to the house and finalized financials. All of this happened following a tornado and flooding. And they made us feel like we were special. Because of all of the above, Aire Serve has a lifelong customer. I recommend these guys to everyone!

Update: Nov 11 2025 LaRee came out to diagnose an error that has cropped up a few times since original install. He was able to get me us good for now, but parts have to be ordered. As is my usual experience it was pretty good and was able to chat about places to eat around the US. Needed a new AC unit as mine was old and in desperate need of replacement. Airserve was able to get people out to look at it, get us an estimate, and installed within a week. No phone tag issues or run arounds. Michael and Eric were the install guys and they were awesome. Explained everything to me, I’m HVAC dumb, and were professional and just chill guys.

Aire Serve provides the kind of service you hope for but rarely receive. This past summer the air conditioner went out at my ,recently diagnosed with cancer, mother’s house. I called Air Serve and they let me know they could come out the next afternoon. I then became concerned because the next day was going to be “Missouri hot” and I called back after hours. A message was relayed and they were able to help my mom first thing in the morning. I was and am very thankful that they could help her and me in such a meaningful way.
