Aire Serv has teamed up with Energize Delaware’s Home Performance with the ENERGY STAR® program to help you upgrade your home’s safety, comfort, and energy efficiency. Together, we provide a whole-house approach that encompasses attic and wall insulation, duct sealing, new thermostats, and complete HVAC and water heater rebates. Aire Serv of Wilmington will help you navigate the HVAC rebates, giveaways, and other incentives available so you can maximize your savings as energy efficiency.

STEP 1 – Call your local Aire Serv to schedule your Energize Delaware Home Energy Assessment. The assessment has a $50 or $25 co-pay for income-qualified customers.

This Home Energy Assessment is MANDATORY for establishing your eligibility to receive the program’s incentives.

STEP 2 – The Energize Delaware program provides you with up to $250 worth of energy-saving products at no cost to you. If you wish, your Aire Serv energy advisor will install the LED light bulbs, water heater pipe insulation, faucet aerators, and efficient-flow shower heads during your assessment.

STEP 3 – Once your Home Energy Assessment is complete, your Aire Serv representative will review the detailed report with you. Together, you’ll discuss the available Energize Delaware incentives and the home improvements you want to make.

Please note: To be eligible for program incentives, you must have Aire Serv install qualified energy-efficient products and/or equipment.

STEP 4 – Once you decide upon the scope of work to be done and sign an agreement for it, your Aire Serv representative will submit your HVAC rebate reservation application with Energize Delaware. This required step must be completed before the work begins.

STEP 5 – After Aire Serv of Wilmington completes the work, the energy advisor who did your Home Energy Assessment will return to verify that all the work was done properly. We'll notify you if the Energize Delaware team selects your home for a random quality assurance review.

STEP 6 – After the final inspection, your Aire Serv representative will submit the required rebate application documentation. Once final completed application is approved, you will receive your rebate check within 6-8 weeks.

Please note: If your house does not meet health and safety standards or lacks sufficient insulation quantity or quality, this must be rectified before you become eligible for Energize Delaware incentives.
