We have had at least 3 HVAC companies look at our system in our new home over the last year. Scott and Dalton came out during the sub-zero temperatures a few weeks ago, and they looked through everything on the surface and recommended some things to get things working at an optimized level but didn’t see any serious issues. They didn’t charge us for the visit, but my husband decided to pay for a yearly maintenance plan and get a tune-up later. The next time Scott came out, he found an error message that was new and thought we needed a new board. It was covered under warranty, but it needed to be ordered, so again no extra charge. He and Dalton came back to install the board, but the error message remained. After a long time of troubleshooting, they discovered that it was actually a limit switch that was faulty, causing the furnace to turn on and off over and over. Additionally, they found that the gas line wasn’t even hand tightened and was leaking propane into our attic (this explains why we kept needing more propane even when it was summer). The furnace hadn’t been switched over from the natural gas settings, also causing us to use extra propane. There was filth and dirt all over our practically new system, along with blown insulation all up into the coil. After all of this time and being told over and over that nothing was actually wrong, but the system was a little too small for the house, we needed more returns, etc, etc., we FINALLY have a way to heat our house. If it weren’t for the persistence of these guys continuing to be determined to figure it out, we would still be sitting in a cold house, wasting tons of propane, putting our health at risk, and having a non-functioning system. Other than the yearly maintenance cost, we were only charged for the labor for the limit switch, so to say that we are grateful is an understatement! It was well-worth every penny, and I cannot wait to see the difference in our propane bill!

Very professional very courteous, quick to respond. Fix the problem correctly the first time. Recalled american home shield saturday night, when our furnace stopped working.An airserve called us first thing.Monday morning and came out monday afternoon to check out.The problem came back wednesday with the part and fixed it. Brendan was our service technician. He was friendly and courteous, and he was a pleasure to have come work on our equipment. Thank you Airserve and especially Brendon.
