It seemed nothing could be done about the noise level short of replacing the unit.   • “Wow. Furnace repair is not on the top of the list when it comes to things to spend money on, but at least Aire Serv of Bull Run made it a painless transaction. Our furnace was acting sluggish... wasn't quite keeping up with the temperature we wanted in the house. With the big snowstorm rolling in this weekend (supposedly!), I didn't want to take the chance that we'd be huddling around a space heater. I called Aire Serv and they were able to send someone out within hours. We started with a "tune-up" (which identified the dirty sensor that was causing the sluggishness) and the tech offered to replace another part that was "borderline" if we wanted him to. We decided to take care of it on the spot since he had the furnace apart, but there was no pressure for us to do so. I also asked him about regular "tune-ups" to keep things from getting sluggish and he explained clearly my options for Aire Serv's Advantage Plans. Again...no pressure. I was the one who asked (and wanted) this service on a more preventative basis. GREAT transaction. Our tech was knowledgeable and polite. I hope we get him again in the future. It feels good to now be on a regular, preventative maintenance plan.”

I informed him that the system cools well but seems to run a lot in heat. To this end, I asked him to give me a price on a 10kw heater rather than a 5kw which I have now. I maintained my membership in Aire Serv's Advantage Plan. However, according to their records, my renewal was in October which was not correct. The tech assured me that he would go back to the office and have this checked. I got an email back in less than a half hour noting that my Plan does not expire until December. Other than Aire Serv's record keeping glitch, I still feel most comfortable giving rating them five stars!”

  • “I don't take the time to write a lot of reviews but felt it was absolutely necessary for this company. I called Aire Serv at 8:30 last night because our AC system was blowing warm air. The oncall tech called me that night (THAT NIGHT!) and told me he could come out if I needed him to. I told him that next day would be fine. He came out this afternoon to look at our system. It did cost us a pretty penny but he was able to breath life into our 20 year old system and delay the need to spend thousands on a brand new unit. At about 8PM today, our system stopped working again. I called the main line for Aire Serv and again, they called me back in about 20 minutes! He came back out tonight and replaced another aging part that was causing the problem. He didn't charge me anything since everything he did earlier today was under warranty. This was seriously some great service!”
