My air conditioner stopped working, and my usual diagnostics found nothing, so I called Aire Service, who had previously serviced the heat pump. It took a few days for the appointment, and in the meantime the AC came back on, but I kept the appointment because it was time for a service anyway, and I was curious. Bobby arrived on time and was able to show me a problem with the drain that could have caused the system to shut down and then come back–and would keep doing that until it got really bad. I like service people who show me the problem and what I can do myself. My service agreement with Aire Serv was out of date, but I was able to renew it and include this service in the discount. I think I’ll keep up to date with them in the future.
