On March 13, just before the last blizzard, I woke at 4am to find that our furnace had gone out overnight. The house is newer to us, but the furnace was about 15 years old and on its last legs. After calling the number for Aire serve, a tech–Ryan–was at our home in Portland in less than 3 hours. Sadly, he let us know that it was time to put the furnace down. We knew it was going to be expensive and, having not gone through it before, had some concerns. Luckily, during this time, Dawne from AS was our lifeline (and probably as knowledgeable as many techs in the field). She told us what the process was, got a tech to our house in a matter of an hour the next day for measurements, and was a huge source of information when questions popped up during the day. One of the owners, Harvey, even called to go over options with us before we decided on a new system. He followed up with a very thorough email recapping the systems, info and cost of everything involved. In the end, we had heat by Friday 3/17 and it cost us about 1/2 of what our mental estimates were. The same tech that did the initial call and measurements also installed the system, and he was knowledgeable and professional the whole time. They all were. While I wouldn't wish our 3 days improvising without heat on anyone, Aire Serve gave us peace of mind through it all. Thank you so much Dawne, Harvey and Ryan.

I have been a customer of Aire Serv since 1993. My home had an unusual combo oil / wood burner furnace, requiring a company with special licensure. Aire Serve offered that…..and much more. Over the years, no matter what the issue my crotchedy old furnace was having, no matter what time of day, Aire Serve responded to my crisis in an extremely responsive fashion. Last year, the old furnace finally passed away in grand fashion….in an empty house, that was under contract to sell. Pipes froze….it was a sheer nightmare. I immediately called my friends at Aire Serve who responded in their ususal "we've got it covered " fashion. And they took care of everything, communicating with me every step of the way. As soon as we bought our new home, I called Aire Serve for a quote on installing central air in our new home. I wouldn't work with any other company.
