We took advantage of the Angie's List Big Deal to receive a HVAC inspection/tune up for the summer. I called to set up an appointment, due to the overwhelming response Residential Experts Heating and Cooling where a bit delayed as to when they could come out. However, I received a rather prompt appointment given the circumstances. Daniel called prior to coming out to confirm my availability. <br /> Daniel did a very thorough inspection of our 10 year old unit, checking the unit inside and outside for air flow, refrigerant and the filters, he even washed off the AC unit outside. <br /> Upon completion, he provided us with the details of the work that he performed and his recommendations, none of which included any up-selling or the need to replace anything. He provided great tips that would help us to extend the life of our AC and to maximize the effectiveness of the unit. <br /> Daniel is very knowledgeable and cordial.

Daniel was very courteous on the phone and when he arrived. He arrived at the agreed on time. He wore shoe covers at all times he was inside my home, and he worked expeditiously. He pointed out the conditions and explained everything that he did in detail; and he gave me some very useful tips on how to cool and heat my home more efficiently, and how to conserve energy in the future. The areas where he worked inside and outside the home were left in order. My central air unit is cooling better than it had been, even during the hottest time of the day – I've even raised the temperature on the thermostat. This is an indication to me that the job was done well.

Fast, competent service. To be prepared for whenever I needed HVAC service, I asked around as well as checked Angie's list. Aire Serv was highly recommended. So, when I did need them, I received fast, excellent service by a very knowledgeable service technician with no attempts to "up sale" me anything I did not need.

He not only performed the inspections that I requested, he went into great detail explaining how each worked, explained the proper routine maintenance, and gave me some troubleshooting tips to extend their life. He did not seem to mind me looking over his shoulder one bit. He talked to me the whole time explaining what he was doing and what he was looking for. He did not try to sell me any long-term contracts, actually he told me that if there's no indication of any problems, an every-other-year inspection/tune-up should be just fine! I was really surprised. One of the reasons I had put this off is because of stories I had heard from co-workers about how pushy heating/ac guys can be trying to lock people into contracts. In addition, on the receipt that he left me he wrote out in detail all the things he had told me so that I wouldn't forget, along with my filter size, etc. In short, he did a very thorough inspection and taught me a ton of things in the process! Without question this is who I'll call when my 17-yr old units fizzle out in the next few years (hopefully!).

He completed a maintance visit- a week later there was a problem. He came to my home the same day I called and deducted the maintance visit from my bill even though it was something that could not have been picked on during his intial visit.
