I just wanted to thank you all for a quick same day service. I appreciate Marshall and his team member coming out to look at the unit an hour after I called! They filled up refrigerant, as it was about a pound too low, and it has been running. Unfortunately, they couldn't detect why the refrigerant was low. They suspected a valve as a potential spot (possibly not mounted back correctly after a previous service from months or even a year ago from a different company), although none of the detection devices could confidently confirm a leak. It must be been tiny, causing a slow degradation. We hope that that tint leak IS indeed caused by the valve, otherwise, we may run into a low refrigerant issue again several weeks or months down the line. (We hope not). Marshall discussed this with us at large and suggested a refill today and valve replacement as the best logical next step. For now, after the service, the set up IS cooling down the area now, and we are thankful. We will reach out if the unit happens to freeze up and stop working again, God forbid. Thank You!

Our A/C stopped working on a Saturday when temperatures were reaching 110-115 degrees. I called at least 8 different HVAC companies, and their idea of emergency service was between 2 and 4 days away. I used Aire Serv's texting service on their web site and had an appointment scheduled for the next day (Sunday) in just a few minutes and received a confirmation text within an hour for the appointment. The technician arrived around 8:30 a.m. and had my A/C repaired and running by 9 a.m. He then performed a diagnostic check on the rest of my system to insure everything else was running properly. Eric was very professional, knowledgeable, and informative. Although this was my first encounter with this company, I already feel like they set the standard for customer service, and they will be my new HVAC company.
