A tune-up is a measured inspection, not a quick look and a filter swap. On the cooling side, your Aire Serv service professional checks refrigerant pressures against target superheat and subcooling, tests capacitor microfarads against the rated value, measures compressor and fan amp draw, cleans the condenser coil, clears and treats the condensate drain, inspects the float switch, and records the temperature split across the evaporator.
On the heating side, we inspect the heat exchanger, test the igniter and flame sensor, verify gas pressure and burner flame quality, confirm the safety switches function, and check the flue for proper draft. Electrical connections are tightened, thermostat operation is verified against actual system behavior, and you receive the readings along with anything trending toward failure.
