Scented Wood Blocks

Orange Peel Candles
These candles are bright and cheery, perfect for the summer months. They are also recycled and easy to make. Begin by cutting the orange in half. Take a knife and run it around the edges of the orange, without removing the inside stem (the white piece that rest in the center). Take a fork and scrape out the inside of the orange. Then pour oil ¾ of the way full and let it sit for 45 minutes. Light the orange with a candle lighter and enjoy!

Threaded Pomander Balls
This air freshener is another great way to utilize natural items like fresh fruit. First insert the cloves into the citrus at points of an arrow, diamond or other shape, spacing them evenly around the fruits. Wrap cord/string around each clove head to form the desired shape. Tie off and cut the cord once completed.
- Whole dried cloves
- Oranges, grapefruits or lemons
- Beading cord, 0.5 mm
