Highly professional service rep and installers. No hard sell from Dean, the senior rep, after he finished diagnosing our 18-year old forced-air furnace's issues. Just good straight talk. We mutually agreed on a middle-of-the-road 95% efficiency model (neither the most-expensive nor the cheapest) furnace to be the best replacement unit for our needs. The purchase included a duct cleaning and extra filters at no extra charge. A year after installation, they will perform an annual maintenance service, also no extra charge. (Subsequent annual maintenance will be done at a nominal charge.) The installers Robert and David were experts; they obviously had installed many furnaces and cleaned many ducts in their lifetime. There was no leftover dirt when they finished; the installation area and ducts were completely clean. Whenever I had a question, they answered knowledgeably. After the install, Robert tested air flow and temperature at various ducts throughout the house. During the duct cleaning, David inserted a camera into the ducting to show me how dirty things looked before and after cleaning. Very high tech! The whole installation took less than 5 hours from start to finish. Really good team – highly recommended! The new furnace is wonderful – it's so efficient it puts out more forced-air heat than our old one ever did. We now set the thermostat lower than before to get the same level of heat. For example, while we used to set our thermostat at 70 degrees for daytime and 67 for sleep, we now use 67 degrees for daytime and 65 for sleep. Our new furnace will save on heating costs! Here's a repair update Aire Serv recently performed on our house's old air conditioner (not originally installed by Aire Serv): water was leaking out of the coil area instead of being routed through PVC pipe to the outside of the garage. Since I had bought an Aire Serv annual maintenance plan that covers both our new furnace and old air conditioner, I called Aire Serv to take a look at the problem. Repairman Eliseo Cortez was able to immediately diagnose the problem and fixed it on the spot. He did a great job, really professional work. And I saved $70 off the repair because of my maintenance contract. Can't say enough nice things about these guys.

I had a refrigerant leak in my split unit system in my condo. I had one company come out for approximately a year to try and “find” the leak. I was without air conditioning at times throughout the summer and without heat at times this winter. After the other “company” came out and finally found the leak, it would be minimum of $1,500 to fix it. Being the system was 10 years old and about ready to die anyway, I didn’t feel it was intelligent to fix a 10 year old system for that amount of money to band aid the issue. I decided I would replace the unit and have a completely new system and be worry free. I called and had 3 companies come out and give estimates on the replacement. Eddie came out and was promptly on time. It was so painless of a process with him giving me the estimate. The estimate he gave was $1,600 cheaper then the other two companies I had come out. The guarantees that come with Aire Serv and the professionalism of all the employees I came in contract with throughout the process was amazing. I asked Eddie when it could be replaced and he said he could do it that day if needed, everything was in stock. The other 2 companies I had come out who were at least $1,600 more were at least 1 week out to come out and perform the work as none of the systems were in stock or whatever the case may be. The install crew, Zach and Parker I believe the other installers name was came out on time and had the installation done within 8 hours. I have heat now and works like a champ. I am telling everyone I know about Aire Serv and how well everything went. Don’t waste time getting bids elsewhere, it’s a waste of time. Get a hold of Eddie and tell him I sent you and you’ll probably get a steal of a deal as well! I’m the one in the Timberland condos in Beaverton, I’m sure he will know. Hoping to save people time and hassle and money which is only reason for my review. Aire Serv still believes in customer service, which is rare with businesses anymore.
