I have had Aire-Serv for about three years. They have always patiently taken excellent care of my creaky old units. The first clue of their professionalism: they put on shoe socks before they enter your home. On their service inspections, they spend a lot more time than you would expect, leaving you feeling very assured that they noted every detail. Then they very thoroughly explain their evaluation. One Christmas Eve morning, our basement furnace started making loud banging sounds, so we had to turn it off. A gentleman from Aire Serv came right out within four hours, and very quickly man-handled a large fan motor back into working condition, and charged only eighty dollars. Aire Serv: straight-A's!

I initially purchased the one year service agreement via Angie's List. The technician arrive in time and inspected my 11 year old Trane HVAC unit. He informed me that the drain pan under the HVAC unit (under the house) was cracked and needed to be replaced. On the same visit, I asked the technician to install the wifi Honeywell thermostat. The next day, which was Sunday, I called and said the heat was not working correctly. The technician came out on Sunday afternoon to check the zone board, which appeared to have a sticky relay. I asked the tech to order a new zone board and replace the cracked drainage pan, which was done a couple of days later (had to order the drain pan and zone board). I was impressed with the Company from the office representative to the technician. The technician was especially helpful in explaining in lay terms how the HVAC system and zone board worked. I enjoyed talking with him about HVAC issues. The cost of the work seemed a little high to me, but it may be that I'm out of touch with what these services cost. Anyway, I highly recommend this company for your HVAC needs.

Evan and Mark were very responsive and communicated when they were on the way. They also checked to be sure we were still able to make appointment. The inspection went well and the few minor repairs were done at the same time. I think the whole team was professional and knowledgeable.

Betsy got someone out to diagnose the problem with our A/C within a couple of hours of my call Monday morning. Her technician was punctual, professional, and courteous. He discovered the motor had gone bad and checked to ensure it was still under warranty, which it was. He provided a quote for the service and estimated it would be completed Thursday at the earliest. I went ahead and paid for the service and waited for the return call. When I hadn't heard by lunchtime Thursday, I called and they said the part had not arrived but hoped to have it by the end of the day and schedule a service call for Friday. Friday morning Betsy called and had someone out to our house within two hours. The A/C was fixed in about 45 minutes and the technician (Jason) was courteous and professional. I'm not sure what the price of service would be, really, and I thought $275 was a bit high, but it was worth it to restore the cool air upstairs.
